I am at it again with the updates to QCSync. If you have no idea what QCSync is you may want to have a look here for the details of how it works. The short story is that if you work for a transportation company and are a Qualcomm Enterprise customer you likely use a set of web based tools to manage your drivers and vehicles. This tool is designed to automate the push/pull relationship between your dispatch & maintenance software and the services offered by Qualcomm (vehicle tracking, critical event reporting, hours of service, etc). Hello Farm Bureau & Hello Friends – Do me a favor and share this post to help this move. I wanted to take a moment to share my experiences as a 12 year customer for all my insurance needs. Last year I was faced with three claims on my home owners insurance. My car was broken into, my sink messed up and the tornado did damage. All these claims totaled less than about $9K. A few weeks ago I was told by FB that my insurance will not renew. For those that do not know this is the scarlet letter in the insurance world. The problem that was reported was that there were some encoding issues with sending a text message with a hyperlink as part of the text. This was something that I went a few rounds with figuring out when I initially developed the library and apparently there was an opportunity here to do it better.  I am happy to say that I have updated both the public and donation supported version of the library at this time and they ...

Let me begin by saying how much I truly believe in the technology of Twilio.com - they have built a reliable and scalar solution to enable telephony features through a simple API. If you have not been introduced to their services you will want to have a look at them in the very near future. To make the use of the services that Twilio offers easier I have built two special use projects that are free for download and use. twiCLI is a command line tool for the Windows environments designed to place phone calls and send text messages, and twiSQL is a set of SQL user defined functions ...
